NYT Games’ Scrabble-like game Crossplay is a dream come true

The New York Times Games launched Crossplay, a Scrabble‑like multiplayer app available on iOS and Android. The game offers ad‑free play for NYT Games subscribers and includes a CrossBot that analyzes moves. Crossplay was released after NYT’s acquisition of Wordle, which was played 4.2 billion times in 2025, and Connections, 1.6 billion times.
