Sony drops prices on the only PS5 consoles I'd recommend buying this holiday season, just in time for GTA 6

A Certified Refurbished PS5 Digital Edition comes in at $499 by itself at PS Direct these days, with an additional refurbished DualSense typically adding $59 to your cart. A digital edition PS5 costs $599 box-fresh (Amazon), with a DualSense controller sitting at $74 (Amazon). It's only adding an extra $20 to the final price, but $20 is $20 (that's a full game on a really good day), and without it, the cheapest PS5 stays under that $500 bracket.
