The dedicated Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Nintendo Direct stream went over how Heroic Games gameplay will work and gave us hints at how scheduling things like map exploration, side quests, training, and socializing could benefit progression during the campaign battles. After getting to go a few hours hands-on with the experience and play through part of Leda’s campaign, I can’t understate how important it seemed paying attention and plotting things out could be. So much so that, while I winged it for this early experience, I felt like I might want to keep an actual notebook on-hand when I really get into it and take on Cai, Dietrich, and Theodora’s stories. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave will come to the Switch 2 on September 17, 2026.
