EA Sports FC has often been accused of focusing too much on Ultimate Team, while leaving other modes out in the cold. EA Sports FC 27 bucks that trend, making every mode feel like the star player. When we reviewed EA FC 26, we called it the “best football game in years,” praising the superb gameplay even if there wasn’t much ambition away from the grass. With the follow-up, EA Sports has gone in the opposite direction, playing it safe on the pitch while shaking things up behind the scenes.
