I went into my hands-on session with Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember expecting to hate it. That probably isn't the sort of sentence Team Ninja wants associated with its upcoming action-RPG, but it's an important one. I've never been great at souls-likes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRdejhi9Oew The sequel to 2023's Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is still built around fast, demanding martial-arts combat, with deflection remaining a crucial part of surviving encounters.

Microsoft reveals the latest batch. Microsoft has revealed the second official roundup of Xbox Game Pass titles for September 2026 (and the first two of October!), with 15 games joining various tiers of the service from September 15 - October 6, including the likes of Gears of War: E-Day , Minecraft Dungeons 2 , Dune: Awakening and many others. As you've probably noticed, a lot of today's announced games already exist in the Ultimate and PC tiers, and are just getting added to Premium in this latest batch. Nevertheless, they're welcome additions if you're a Premium member!
Other winners include RE9, Magical Girl Witch Trials, and Pragmata.
Various Japanese users were recently banned (but then reinstated). When it comes to buying Xbox game codes, Game Pass subscriptions, Gift Cards and whatever else, you can obviously do all of that through the official Microsoft Store, but you can also go to retailers such as Amazon, Walmart and others, and there are even "resellers" that sometimes offer Xbox codes for quite cheap prices. You have to be careful with these, as although some of them are perfectly legitimate and will give you what you pay for, other less reputable avenues are more risky and could lead to you being the victim of a "fraudulent" code. NetherRealm's next project has yet to be officially announced, but many believe it to be the third entry in the studio's superhero fighting game series Injustice. Now, there are new signs that select few outside the studio are playing Injustice 3.
The Steam Frame launches during one of the slowest periods for VR on Steam, but Valve hopes to 'rekindle the excitement' for PCVR "We also want to grow a healthy ecosystem for both the gamers and the game developers." There was a time when VR was pretty much exclusive to the PC. I'm talking about when the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift were the pinnacle of technology, circa 2016. Nowadays, these three dominate the Steam Hardware Survey for August 2026, accounting for over 60% of headsets plugged into a PC by those surveyed. Few new arrivals in PCVR get anywhere close: the Bigscreen Beyond has just 1.25% of the share, which is less than the original Vive.
With the FPS Wardogs dominating the Steam charts, developer Bulkhead is paying close attention to the game's various systems. The studio recently dropped a new patch that makes some necessary changes for server stability, while confirming that the team has their eyes on cheaters and exploiters. As part of Patch 0.11 , which came out on September 14, Bulkhead announced that should any dogs of war take advantage of Wardogs' economy by farming servers, they'll find themselves either temporarily or permanently banned from the game. "As an early access game, we’re not perfect, and we never will be," Bulkhead said in the patch notes.
Forget GTA 6, I have brought GTA 5 closer to being the true greatest game of all time: Hulk – Ultimate Destruction Quit staring. I'm modding GTA 5 every day in a quest to either transform it into a PC version of GTA 6 or break it entirely. Here's some logic for you: Grand Theft Auto 6—fattened on its billions—cannot help but be the greatest game of all time. Those years of Valve’s benign neglect of VR make the imminent release of the $1,059 Steam Frame—which starts taking reservations today—more than a little surprising. The Frame even sports fancy extras like eye-tracking for effective foveated rendering in the center of your vision and an SD card slot for expanded storage (you can also splurge for a $1,299 Frame version that upgrades the internal storage from 256GB to 1TB). But the relatively weak Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in the Frame means the games are limited to relatively undemanding 2D titles or older 3D titles (Portal 2, anyone?) Even a game like Returnal, which can hit a “Playable” 30 fps on the aging Steam Deck, managed a paltry 9 fps in benchmarks on the Frame at 720p “Low” graphics settings. Late to the party For most players, it’s hard to recommend the $1,049 Steam Frame over a $599 Meta Quest 3 (or even a $349 Quest 3S for the more budget-minded).

Maybe not, as it seems developer Neowiz has a different title in mind for the inevitable Soulslike sequel. The company has recently filed a trademark for Wonders of O, which sure sounds like the Wizard of Oz-themed follow-up teased in the original game. The Wonders of O trademark appeared on the European Union Intellectual Property Office website with a filing date of September 10, as spotted by The Phrasemaker. The trademark covers video game and computer software of various types, including potential for both physical and downloadable games, exactly like the 2022 trademark for Lies of P.

"They've taken about $250,000 of your money for a product that's not finished" - Unico's faux CRT TV commits retro gaming cardinal sins during early testing It turns out Unico Traveller ULW10, a retro console LCD monitor that looks like a CRT, is already in the hands of creators. In a harsh early verdict, RetroRGB says Unico has "taken about $250,000 of your money for a product that's not finished and was never properly tested." That much is clear from the absurd lag measurements, but I'm also scratching my head at the fact that there's no composite connection, which you'll need for the NES or if you're looking into how to play N64 games, and the fact that it converts 240p signals to 480i, jitters and all.
