Bungie co-founder and Destiny 2 narrative director launch transmedia studio Stone Kite "Instead of starting in one medium and adapting outward, we bring global creators from different disciplines to shape the world together," says CEO Margaret Stohl Bungie co-founder Jason Jones and Destiny 2 narrative director Margaret Stohl have launched a new transmedia studio called Stone Kite. Jones co-created the Halo and Destiny franchises, while Stohl worked on several video games and co-founded 7 Studios with Lewis Paterson, which Activision later acquired. She is CEO of Stone Kite, and is also the author of the Beautiful Creatures series. Described as a "world-building studio," the Los Angeles-based Stone Kite is debuting with its first IP, One Zero One, adapted from an original manuscript by Jones.
