Hearth and Hamlet publisher Runic Forge rebrands as Pythia Games Parent company Rune is dropping its agency work to operate solely as an indie publisher Hearth and Hamlet publisher Runic Forge has rebranded as Pythia Games. Rune, the UK-based "data-driven indie marketing agency," is now moving to work "exclusively as a publisher." The move follows the launch of Phorust Studios' cozy incremental city builder Hearth and Hamlet, Rune's first major release as a publisher. The game launched on Steam on August 19 and sold nearly 50,000 units in its first 24 hours, rising to 100,000 in its first week. Before launch, more than 100,000 unique players played the game's free demo, and its wishlists passed 125,000.
