If you were around during the height of the 'Xbox Live Arcade' initiative, then you might have played a little game called Trials HD . It was a big part of the second 'Summer of Arcade' event when it launched in 2009, garnering positive reception and helping Finnish developer RedLynx produce several sequels, including Trials Evolution , Trials Fusion , and Trials Rising . Nintendo fans only received the latter entry on Switch, but the entire series is well worth playing, if you can. Unfortunately, Ubisoft – having acquired RedLynx back in 2011 – has now proposed to close the studio down entirely as part of its ongoing restructuring (thanks, GamesIndustry ).
