Despite its mixed reception, Marvel's Wolverine was September's top-selling new game in the US, making Sony launch revenues it hasn't seen since Helldivers 2 Claws and effect. Additionally, Helldivers 2 had a much lower price of $40 compared to Wolverine's $70, meaning the former sold more copies to arrive at a similar point. September, of course, was one of the busiest months for games this year, and that was reflected in the top-ten, which saw eight new releases - including The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, Switch 2-exclusive Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, and PC-exclusive Wardogs.
