A woman from California has revealed that she was paid $120,000 to carry a baby that ended up being for Chinese video game billionaire Xu Bo. There are plenty of reasons why people choose to go down the surrogacy route when it comes to having a child. On the flip side, surrogates can often make some money from deciding to carry a child for nine months, provided they’re not just helping a friend out. Speaking to CBS News, the woman – who has been named only as Judy to protect her identity – has her own seven-year-old, and after spotting the ad for $120,000, she decided that it could help her find a home for her own family.
