Some familiar names are returning to The Last of Us, with the show casting even more of the game’s voice actors in season 3. Based on Naughty Dog’s acclaimed games, the HBO show follows Ellie and Joel through a world devastated by a fungal infection. Just like the incredibly popular first game, the first season centred on Joel and Ellie’s journey across the United States, while the second expanded the story around Ellie and Abby. In the show, the characters are brought to life by Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey and Kaitlyn Dever who, in their portrayal of Joel, Ellie, and Abby respectively, have helped make the adaptation one of HBO’s biggest shows.
