25 years later, Hideki Kamiya says he'd make another Devil May Cry game just to clear up some deep-cut lore

It's been seven years since the last Devil May Cry game was released, and 25 years since legendary developer Hideki Kamiya was at the helm of the series. Kamiya moved onto other projects after directing the original DMC, but he's now teasing fans on social media with the possibility of a return to the series – an idea that's all the more tantalizing given his recent reunion with Capcom. Over the weekend, a fan asked Kamiya on social media about some deep cut lore in the original Devil May Cry. He departed the company after the launch of Okami in 2006 and soon co-founded PlatinumGames, where he led titles like Bayonetta and The Wonderful 101.
