Nintendo just announced a new 2D entry in the Metroid series for the Switch 2, titled Metroid Ravenous. It’s launching on January 28th, 2027. The Switch 2 is getting a 2D Metroid called Ravenous Nintendo’s next 2D Metroid game launches in January. Nintendo launched Dread in 2021, a remaster of Metroid Prime for the original Switch in 2023, and Metroid Prime 4 last year.
