Evidence of canceled Grand Theft Auto 5 Liberty City and 'Agent Trevor' DLC, plus early version of GTA6's map surface online Their exact provenance is unclear, but they seem to have come from the big 2023 hack. As reported by IGN, a trove of data from Rockstar has made its way online, with the big ticket items being Grand Theft Auto 5's source code, remnants of canceled GTA5 singleplayer DLC, as well as an early version of GTA6's map that can be loaded into the prior game. It's unclear how or why the data is making the rounds now, but the consensus appears to be that it was first extracted from Rockstar in the infamous 2022 Lapsus hack that revealed GTA6 to the world. TJGM has a few posts showing screenshots of an early version of GTA6's map loaded into GTA5, with markers (unclear if from Rockstar for dev purposes or placed by the user) denoting areas like "Alligator Farm," "Coast Guard," and "Disused Theme Park." The map is "very unfinished" according to TJGM, and reportedly dates to 2015.
