Norway is preparing to propose a temporary ban on AI glasses in some public places over concerns that people could be recorded without knowing it. The Norwegian government announced the proposal on October 5 as camera-equipped smart glasses face growing privacy concerns around the world. Rather than banning the technology entirely, officials are considering restrictions in places where people regularly gather or where privacy is particularly important. The proposal has not yet become law.
