Sony announced that people in the US can now access Live TV on PS5 on a PlayStation 5 and that anime channels are part of the launch line-up. This is the ad-supported option to watch channels with different themes. The PlayStation Blog reveal confirmed Crunchyroll is behind some of the “over 100” launch channels. The initial reveal confirmed that there will be Live TV on PS5 channels dedicated to anime, fiction and nonfiction TV shows, news, sports, weather, movies, esports, and “creator programming.” Some of the anime series confirmed in the reveal and on the official site are Black Clover, Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, and Sailor Moon.
