Darkest Dungeon Is Getting New DLC, Even Though It Has A Sequel

Red Hook Studios surprised Darkest Dungeon fans by announcing new DLC for the first game years after a sequel was already released. It's titled The Fire's Edge and will be out in August. Darkest Dungeon exited early access in 2016 and last received DLC in May 2020. Darkest Dungeon: The Fire's Edge To mix up Darkest Dungeon's roguelike runs even more once these new characters arrive, The Fire's Edge is adding new mechanics to equippable trinkets and the Academie Duello, Craftworks, and Archaeological Base Camp Hamlet districts to explore.
