A developer has created a browser game that lets players drive almost anywhere on Earth by generating roads and terrain in real time from map data. Rather than clicking between Street View images, Hop.Earth turns OpenStreetMap and satellite elevation data into a fully drivable world, letting players explore real-world locations or create multiplayer races through their hometowns, favorite roads or anywhere else they can find on the map. Hop.Earth generates the world as you drive Created by developer DVLPLONDON, Hop.Earth works entirely in a web browser and generates the world ahead of the player in real time using OpenStreetMap and satellite elevation data. Players simply search for a location, click “Hop Here” to parachute into the map, then call in a car before driving across the surrounding roads.
