KFC has launched a limited-time Evangelion collaboration, giving fans the chance to try a purple Unit-01 burger and pick up exclusive merch based on the iconic anime. From July 23 to August 31, 2026, Evangelion fans in Hong Kong can purchase a purple burger that’s been inspired by Shinji Ikari’s signature mech. Eva gets purple Unit-01 burger at KFC Leading the collaboration is the A1 Purple Awakening Feast that will set you back $62 HK dollars (around $7.91). Well, there’s the EVA Unit-01 multi-purpose desk mat ($9.48), a Shinji and Unit-01 mug ($8.52), and an Evangelion character message stand ($5.65) that’s perfect for writing little reminders on.
