Ubisoft has confirmed that it will share what's next for Ghost Recon when it celebrates the series' 25th anniversary on August 6. This comes after several reports and rumors about upcoming Ghost Recon games emerged over the past month. On July 20, Insider Gaming reported on a leak of the Ghost Recon: Wildlands Definitive Edition, a current-generation remaster of the 2017 game that will add a new mission, support 4K resolution, and run at 60 frames per second. Christoph Hartmann, who founded 2K Games and was VP of Amazon Game Studios, took over as Creative House 2's general manager earlier this month .
