Pokemon has teamed up with Santa Cruz Skateboards to release a collection of mystery skateboards inspired by its trading card game, but resellers are already listing them for more than double their original price. The collection launched on October 17 to celebrate Pokemon’s 30th anniversary, featuring 30 different designs and three rare gold variants. Originally priced at $139.95 each, the decks have already appeared on resale sites for significantly more. One unopened mystery deck was listed for $298.68, more than twice its original $139.95 retail price.
