A woman was killed in a shark attack in South Africa, despite wearing a piece of equipment that is supposed to repel sharks. On October 20, 65-year-old Janine Lochrenberg was killed in a shark attack in KuGompo City, South Africa. According to the BBC, Lochrenberg was out swimming in the morning, with the 65-year-old being bitten in two places before being brought ashore. As per the report, a morning swim was a part of the 65-year-old’s daily routine and she had been a member of an open water swimming club.
