The first reactions to Zach Cregger's Resident Evil movie are in, and they're pretty glowing. The new take on the iconic game franchise tells the story of Bryan (Austin Abrams), a hospital courier charged with making a delivery to Racoon City General Hospital. However, on his way he gets caught up in a horrifying outbreak, leaving him fighting for his life. Rather than focussing on game characters, the new take on the IP is set instead on the periphery of Resident Evil 2.
