Square Enix’s latest announced a ton of new information about Final Fantasy Resonance that confirmed recurring bosses Gilgamesh and Ultima Weapon will appear alongside more characters from the mainline series like Clive, Firion, Lightning, and Vaan will be in the new game. Four more Espers are also confirmed as summons, and there will also be assorted Mighty Foes with Magicite and optional Secret Dungeons. The announcement covered some reveals, and here’s who else we’ll be able to summon for assistance: - Visions: - FFII – Firion - FFIII – Onion Knight - FFXII – Vaan - FFXIII – Lightning - FFXV – Noctis - FFXVI – Clive - Espers: - Bahamut - Carbuncle - Leviathan - Odin There are also a ton of new screenshots showing off Gilgamesh, Ultima Weapon, new and returning characters, Visions, and Espers. Final Fantasy Resonance will come to the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 22, 2026.
