Rockstar Games employees have made demands to the Grand Theft Auto creators as they’re still seeking recognition as a union. In October 2025, Rockstar Games fired more than 30 members of staff from their studios across the United Kingdom, Canada, and India. The GTA creators were accused of ‘union-busting’ by some employees, but stated that the firings came as a result of “gross misconduct” by the former employees. Since then, Rockstar employees have sought recognition as a union, protesting outside Rockstar offices in Edinburgh and London, and even getting a response from the British parliament.
