Atari signs 10-title film deal with Universal "We are excited to bring the spirit of our iconic brand and games to a new medium" Atari has signed a deal with Universal Pictures to develop 10 of its game IPs into feature films. According to Deadline, Universal Pictures has bought the first project, although the game the movie will be based on hasn't yet been disclosed. The 10 titles covered are Asteroids, Adventure, Berzerk, Breakout, Centipede, Crystal Castles, Millipede, Missile Command, Pong, and Yars' Revenge. All are expected to be turned into "big-scale action-adventure fare," per Deadline's reporting.
