A follow-up to Ridley Scott's Alien: Covenant is reportedly in the works with Prisoners writer Aaron Guzikowski. A continuation of the sci-fi horror franchise has started to pick up steam, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Scott is in the mix as a producer, with Guzikowski, who previously worked with Scott on HBO's Raised by Wolves, set to pen its script. However, the report did state that it will not be a sequel to 2024's Alien: Romulus and is instead expected to share ties with Scott's Prometheus and Alien: Covenant films.
