Watch: Road collapse in Omaha leaves vehicles stranded inside sinkhole

A road collapse in Omaha, Nebraska, caused a sinkhole that swallowed two vehicles and temporarily shut down traffic in the area after a crash on Tuesday afternoon. Officers responded to the scene near the intersection of 67th and Pacific Street in the Aksarben neighborhood shortly after 3:30 p.m. on February 24, according to a statement from Omaha Police Department Officer Sarah Martier shared with PEOPLE. Following the incident, officials issued a traffic advisory warning drivers that Pacific Street was closed between 66th and 69th Street.
