Game Freak has revealed a magical anime girl mobile game directed by Pokemon series director Shigeru Ohmori, and it features gameplay impacted by IRL weather conditions. Following on from the exciting announcement of Pokemon Winds and Waves for the Switch 2, Game Freak has another game for anime fans to look forward to: Rainy Day, Sunny Girl. Rainy Day, Sunny Girl features IRL weather-based gameplay Rainy Day, Sunny Girl is being co-developed by Game Freak and Chronogate, with Pokemon series director Shigeru Ohmori serving as director and producer. Each Hareonna is paired with a Kumorin, a divine animal companion that helps them transform.” Game Freak will showcase Rainy Day, Sunny Girl at Tokyo Game Show 2026, which takes place at Makuhari Messe from September 17 to September 21.
