After more than two decades dominating the PC MMO battlefield, it sounds like Blizzard Entertainment's taking the idea of a World of Warcraft console port more seriously than ever. World of Warcraft: Forever's beta seems to have been immensely popular with fans of the series. It's a brand new third version of the iconic multiplayer game that sits alongside WoW's Classic and Retail portions, and it's recaptured many a lapsed Warcraft sicko with tons of good changes, big and small - one of which is controller support for the first time ever.

The clips, which featured the aftermath of a deadly crush that occurred in 2022, received immediate backlash from the victims' families. The disaster, which killed 160 people, was featured prominently in the game's opening scene despite the story focusing on a fictional North Korean invasion. “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is a work of fiction created to provide realistic immersion," Activision representatives said in a statement sent to South Korean media.
Publisher Activision has responded to criticism over using a devastating tragedy in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 , saying that the incident will be removed from the military shooter in a November 12 update. In a statement to BBC News, Activision confirms the use of the real-life footage, saying it was used "to establish the game's fictional narrative" but insists that the inclusion was "not intended to reference or trivialise the Itaewon disaster or any other real-world tragedy in any way, shape or form."
