There's no denying that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake looks weird. Whether you think it skews too far into the direction of realism or you're bawling your eyes out over how good Hyrule looks all these decades later, it's strange to see such a distinct and recognizable game look like this. And I'm hoping that it's received well, because I would love to see the same treatment applied to Ocarina of Time's incredibly strange and dark sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, if only too see just how messed up that moon is going to look. It's possible you've never played Majora's Mask but will immediately recognize one of its primary antagonists: a menacing and ever-present moon that is slowly hurtling towards Clock Town over the span of three days.

Dragon Quest 9 has been trapped on the Nintendo DS for 17 years, and franchise creator Yuji Horii was "a little disheartened" to learn fans never wanted that Dragon Quest 9 was a Nintendo DS exclusive when it launched in 2009 – and it technically still is. In it, he discusses fans' response to Dragon Quest 9 being a Nintendo DS exclusive after experiencing the visual splendor of the first completely 3D Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest 8, in 2004. User Liamland says on a 12-year-old GameFAQs thread, "After playing [Dragon Quest 8] on the PS2, it would seem as if [Dragon Quest 9] on the NDS was a step down, from a graphics and sound standpoint.
It took me a while to recover from the first big scare in Resident Evil Requiem. There I was, hunched over with a screen inches from my face and headphones in my ears, when a gigantic woman began chasing me through a dimly lit hallway intent on, well, eating me. The successful cross-platform launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 was a good early sign for the Switch 2, but Requiem might be the best test so far.
