Revisiting Ecstatica - the pioneering survival horror that used its fancy ellipsoid graphics tech to fill its world with dongs Wish you were sphere. There's a well-known phenomena in video games development known as time-to-penis. It's a somewhat tongue-in-cheek measurement of the time players, when given an exciting suite of new customisation tools, will take to create the first inevitable in-game dong. Ecstatica sort of implies it works the other way round too.

Capcom's remake machine is ticking away, only problem is that means revisiting Resident Evil 5 and 6 Some things are better left alone, although I'm happy to be proven wrong. Amid celebrations for Resident Evil's 30th anniversary, executive producer Jun Takeuchi revealed what future plans Capcom had for the Resident Evil series, including what will happen after the devs run out of games to remake. "The current 'Resident Evil' series is being developed along two tracks: the numbered titles allow players to experience the ongoing story of the series, while the remake series allows them to experience the past," Takeuchi says (via RENEWS). This isn't new information as Capcom has begun its huge remake project in 2019 (with the Resident Evil 2 remake) and has since gone on to give Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4 facelifts as well, with the next scheduled to be Code: Veronica.
