Slay the Spire 2 developer Mega Crit has shouted out the developer who announced they won't be delaying their game in the face of the roguelike sequel launching the day prior. Recovering Helldivers 2 players should check out the cowboy robot gunplay of Far Far West, which has a demo These robots are magic as well? Leave some tropes for the rest of us, Evil Raptor If you’ve been holding off playing Helldivers 2 because you’re fervently hoping they’ll eventually add robot cowboy wizards, then firstly, you are eccentric to the point of deranged, and your mother and I are very worried about you, and secondly, why not play the Far Far West demo instead? It’s a one to four player co-op FPS with robot cowboy wizards out the wazoo. Far Far West feels gentler than Helldivers 2, so far, more of a Blazing Saddles-style romp than a Starship Troopers-esque bloodbath.

GamesRadar+ Verdict Funny in bursts, regularly creative, yet held back by distinctly average combat and poor exploration elements. High on Life 2 is a surreal trip well worth taking, although you'll need to adjust your expectations accordingly. Pros - + Bright, engrossing world - + Very funny (sometimes) - + Pleasingly unpredictable Cons - - So-so combat - - Dodgy skateboarding implementation - - The crudest humor lacks confidence Why you can trust GamesRadar+ High on Life 2 is many things. Release date: February 13, 2026 Platform(s): PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2 Developer: In-house Publisher: Squanch Games If you got any kind of pleasure from the first High on Life, this is very much for you, as it's the same kind of weird, humor-drenched atmosphere but with much tighter pacing.

Reanimal doesn't exactly disprove co-op is the enemy of horror but it shows there's a place for human connection too Friends in dark places. Two crouched shapes silhouetted in the moonlight, breath held tight as something stirs. A torch beam slices through the shadows; strange grasping limbs slide into view; tension mounts, hearts pound, and then suddenly a voice cuts in, "Hang on a minute, I'm just gonna run to the loo." Co-op in horror games doesn't have the greatest rep. The argument's simple - so obvious, it barely qualifies as an argument at all: horror thrives in isolation, silence is the foundation of tension, so shove a second person into the mix and even before you've both subconsciously slipped into idle chit-chat, the set-up is antithetical to sustained atmosphere.
The time has come for you to judge Marathon for yourself (again): there's a new 'server slam' running late Feb into March Not a sprint. To celebrate the incoming launch, the developer has announced it will be hosting a Server Slam coming 26th February 26 and running until 2nd March. Per a post on the PlayStation Blog, the weekend will feature an "introduction to Marathon's gameplay, with additional maps, factions, contracts, and more to come at launch and during Season 1." Bungie also shared a first look at some special rewards for PlayStation Plus players: a trio of weapon charms paying homage to Helldivers 2, Death Stranding 2, and Ghost of Yōtei. These include: - Ghost of Yōtei – Onryō Weapon Charm - Death Stranding 2 – Battle Guitar Weapon Charm - Helldivers 2 – For Freedom Weapon Charm This, of course, isn't the first time Marathon has poked its head above the proverbial parapet to see what the general public thinks of the game.
Deep in an abandoned mine shaft, the still, musty air is filled with the moans of ghosts, clacking of skeletons, and glop-glopping of slime creatures. They’ve been shambling around, unseen, for who knows how long. And quite frankly, it gets boring down there! Do you have what it takes to help them turn eternity into something a little more exciting?

Today's Highguard major update delivers a new hero who's a wolf in all forms including physical, awoooo Fearsome howler Ekon arrives alongside a 3v3-only ranked mode Genre soupy shooter Highguard's second big update arrives today, February 6th. It'll deliver a new hero to guard those pesky highs in the form of Ekon, a bloke who can transform into a wolf. Developers Wildlight have also aimed to ensure the game's gang of established heroes don't feel left out by adding a free wolf mount, alongside a new map called Skydrift and a 3v3 ranked mode. Those all sound like they'll come in handy during 3v3 or 5v5 battles on the Skydrift map, which is comprised of a floating lost city you battle your way up via plenty of bouncing around, zip-lining, and bridge crossing.
