Since the monumental launch of Wardogs , which saw almost 350,000 people logging in to play when it released into early access, there's been some confusion around certain items and processes despite the in-game tutorial. While the tutorial explains how to get a FOB--or Forward Operating Base--it's easy to forget that when you're feeling the pressure of combat. FOBs are also far more useful than the tutorial explains, and they're vital to ensuring your team maintains control of the zone, increasing your points. Each pallet of supplies costs $400 but you'll get $2500 for dropping each pallet off to a FOB.

No Law was one of the most exciting games I saw at Gamescom: a cyberpunk immersive sim that solves one of Deus Ex's biggest problems Big hairy guy, on the case. Sometimes you see a game and can tell that the developers just get it. Having seen it first hand at Gamescom, it has quickly become one of my most anticipated games from the show. It's a first person FPS set in a cyberpunk setting.
Carjacking in Grand Theft Auto games has been, as the title denotes, a staple of the series. Up until now, it's largely been the same. While there have been more details and animations added over the years, the premise has remained that you'll walk up to a car, press Y or Triangle, throw the driver out, get in and drive away. If the car was parked, you'd execute the same button press to smash the window and steal it.
If you’d told me two years ago that Nintendo and FromSoftware would team up on an online PvPvE Switch 2 exclusive that’s also kind of a spiritual successor to Bloodborne, my first reaction would have been, “it’s called the Switch 2??” But jokes aside, I would’ve found this collaboration hard to believe. FromSoftware is one of the hottest devs on the planet right now, but its games rarely come to Nintendo platforms. Nintendo is publishing this game outside of Japan, and you can count all of the M-rated games the typically family-friendly company has ever published on basically two hands. Before I jumped into the network test, a coworker pointed out that The Duskbloods is basically Bloodborne mixed with Kirby Air Ride’s City Trial (or Super Smash Bros.
Marathon's limited time Ordnance Heist is a multi-run and map event that nets you a cool gun you can't keep Fire starter Marathon's Vault Breaker, an experimental PvE mode that allowed even solo folks to take on the endgame map Cryo Archive, is wrapping up today, but Bungie does at least have a new event for you to have a go at in kind. It's called Ordnance Heist, and while it doesn't offer any major new features or radical changes, the big thing it does focus on is completing multiple runs across multiple maps, netting you an explosive weapon called the Firestorm. To start, you'll want to load into Perimeter and earn yourself some UESC Manifests and key templates; harder enemies give you better drop odds. This Ordnance Heist event kicks off today, August 18th, at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm BST, and runs until September 1st at the same time.

Activision has provided a closer look at Modern Warfare 4's ambitious new Kill Block map, which shows how the dynamic map completely changes the environment between each match. Modern Warfare 4's Kill Block is set at the fictional West Bridge Advanced Military Training Facility, where modular battlegrounds reconfigure before every match, creating hundreds of potential map combinations. https://youtu.be/SJt5bbgQ-TQ?si=nAWZON4R197lE2CE Kill Block's full map size is equivalent to the popular Shoot House map from 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, but the design consists of three "slabs" that are all modular pieces that can be swapped out and connected with other pieces in various different ways. Activision says this provides "an ever-changing combo map that enables players to experience a variety of Shoot House-style environments across numerous combat scenarios." Each slab on its own is roughly the size of Call of Duty's 2v2 Gunfight maps, and there are enough individual slabs to form more than 500 combo configurations for Kill Block at the launch of Modern Warfare 4.
Bungie's new extraction shooter, Marathon , is almost ready for launch but the Destiny 2 developer has one final open-beta-style server slam to host. Starting on February 26 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET and finishing on March 2 at the same time, the Marathon server slam is an opportunity for players to get their hands on the game ahead of launch. It'll also allow Bungie to test its infrastructure before the full Marathon release date lands. It's important to note that there will only be two of Tau Ceti's zones available during the server slam--Perimeter and Dire Marsh--and players can try out five of the six available Runner shells .
