Now, game designer Michael Shinall (Marvel Zombies, DCeased, and others) and publisher Salt Games are working with Max to bring him from his kitchen straight to your tabletop with a brand-new worker-placement game based on his popular series, which launched on Kickstarter this week. Recently, we had the chance to sit down with both Max and Michael to hear about how this new adaptation will play, a bit about how it all came to be, and why, whether you are coming at this as a fan of Tasting History or board games, there will be something on this plate you may like. Tasting History: The Board Game The game itself is split into five rounds, with 1-5 players taking turns placing their four chefs at the various spots on the era’s board, and is completed in only about 60-90 minutes.

The beer giant has unveiled Pubscription, a platform that swaps films and TV shows for real-life drinking spots, allowing users to browse local pubs as though they’re searching for their next favourite series. A developer is using AI to build an open world game that recreates the entire planet, describing it as a mix of GTA and Apple Maps. The project was shared on X by @_chuckyc, who explained that it runs on a custom-built engine that streams in OpenMapTiles and other public domain mapping data to render the whole Earth as a playable world. “Ok… uh so I’m making a game… it’s like if GTA & Apple Maps v1 had a baby,” he wrote. The Earth-sized sandbox is being built with Claude For now, the developer says there’s no actual game yet, calling it “just a sandbox world” made up of “layers and layers of systems.” That includes Earth-scale weather systems with rain, storms, wind, tornadoes and hurricanes that players can watch coming from a distance.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners animation team Studio Trigger went through Night City with a "virtual camera" in Cyberpunk 2077 to find "great spots to fit into the story" for season 2. "That's the great thing about Studio Trigger. They're huge fans of the game," Edgerunners showrunner and creator Bartosz Sztybor explains to GamesRadar+ on how certain Night City locales are chosen to crop up on-screen. Sztybor admits, "They know the city much better than I do," adding that he never mentions specific place names in his script – because he knows Studio Trigger will put in the hard yards by replicating season 2's camera-wielding newcomer Roman on the streets of Night City.
