MachineGames is rumoured to be working on a third Wolfenstein game.
Ahead of his release next week on 2nd November, Sony’s dropped a full character guide for the upcoming Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls addition, Phoenix Cyclops. Like similar videos prior to the game’s launch, this runs through the combatant’s full roster of moves, including his ability to transform into Dark Phoenix state by assembling Solar Shards. All eyes may be on Grand Theft Auto 6's release in November, but this fall has kicked off with plenty else to play. Be it a new friendslop horror game, a relaxing driving experience, or a Mission: Impossible-style deception simulator, we've been enjoying a wide range of games in October. -- Mark Delaney See at Steam Lego Batman's Mayhem Mode Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was one of my favorites earlier this year, a fun mash-up romp through various Batman continuity with combat inspired by the Arkham series. -- Gabe Gurwin See at Steam Also playing: Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2: The sequel to an already-wonderful boomer shooter is somehow even better, with a new playable character, branching paths, and more varied enemies.

Bethesda and Xbox development studio id Software, maker of the Doom franchise, has deepened its partnership with fellow Bethesda and Xbox studio MachineGames, makers of the most recent Wolfenstein games as well as 2024's Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. At a press event earlier this week for id Software's Doom: The Dark Ages - Revelations DLC, which was released this summer, studio co-director Marty Stratton was asked how the studio is doing in the wake of the layoffs that affected id as part of Xbox CEO Asha Sharma's ongoing Xbox "reset." He answered, "We're doing great. Not to handwave the [layoffs] away...everybody knows we had about half of our studio exit as part of that. We're both really really bullish on what we have ahead." This is purely speculative on my part, but might the two decorated first-person shooter studios be co-developing MachineGames's next project, which is heavily rumored to be Wolfenstein 3 – with studio head Jerk Gustafsson saying, "We're not done with Wolfenstein yet"?
As both a woman and complete and utter nerd, nothing makes me giddier than when those two core facets of my personality come together in an inspired way. Such is the case of Mooncat's Death Note collaboration, which sees the manga-turned-anime-turned-live-action-film adapted into something a bit different: nail polish. Each polish runs between $17-18, and a magnetic wand--which assists in the application of magnetic polishes and making cat-eye effects--can be added to your cart for free with any purchase. The collector's box set retails for $139--about $20 less than if you were to buy each polish individually--and comes with an exclusive sticker set and magnetic wand.
Dedicated horror fans have another reason to check out Paizo's upcoming horror TTRPG, 13 Omens. The tabletop publisher has managed to pull off some behind-the-scenes arcanum and has confirmed an official Re-Animator crossover scenario for the game, based on the cult horror film. The 13 Omens Re-Animator Crossover Announcement In a surprise update post on the 13 Omens Kickstarter page, Paizo inc announced the Re-Animator crossover is a new prewritten scenario for the game. At the time of writing, the 13 Omens Kickstarter has raised $320,059, more than three times its initial funding goal.

If you're not fussed about that Stream Deck functionality, I'd recommend waiting for something like the Razer BlackShark V4 Pro to go on sale, or holding out for a discount on the older Logitech G502 X Plus or Razer Basilisk V3 Pro. How I tested the Corsair Nightsword V2 Wireless I used the Corsair Nightsword V2 Wireless as my daily driver for both work and evening gaming for a period of two weeks, with an additional week spent testing alongside the Razer Basilisk V4 Pro.
Baldur's Gate 3 custom campaign mod channels World of Warcraft with an adventure about undead former slaves fighting to reclaim a kingdom From the creator of the Act Two Expansion mod which came out in September The opening act of a Baldur's Gate 3 custom campaign mod which injects an adventure set in the World of Warcraft universe into Larian's RPG has been released. The mod, Forsaken, is another ambitious bit of work from a modder who recently expanded the second act of BG3's main story with a new region to explore before you head into the final chapter. This time, they've abandoned the D&Dverse for a tale of undead slaves rising up after being freed from serving a Lich King. His love for games was sparked somewhere between Metal Gear Solid 2 and Knights of the Old Republic, and these days you can usually find him splitting his entertainment time between retro gaming, the latest big action-adventure title, or a long haul in American Truck Simulator.
FromSoftware's elderly King's Field games aren't really celebrated for their feeling of agility. They are glorious first-person trudgefests, a treacle-thick waltz of swinging and spellcraft, with players wobbling in and out of attack range like British men who aren't sure whether the other man wants a hug. Unlike in the later Dark Souls action-RPGs, to which King's Field owes some of its retrospective popularity, there's no dodge-roll to grease the wheels. Out this week on Steam, Queen's Domain is often as ponderous as King's Field, but it's also an exercise in steady, triumphant acceleration.
