Amid the countless games flooding Steam at all times, a new release this week is not to be missed: Queen's Domain. The action-adventure game from Freshly Baked Games takes more than a little inspiration from the earliest titles made by From Software, the King's Field series, but it manages to stand out from other modern fantasy games. Jean-Luc is not a King's Field player but very much enjoyed the opening 10 hours of the game--an amount that somehow only equates to about 5% completion, according to an in-game counter. Queen's Domain hits Steam tomorrow, October 30, for $20 and is deemed Verified on both Steam Machine and Deck.
World of Warcraft players angry after Blizzard seems to contradict housing cosmetics policy with Halloween additions Kul to arms. The World of Warcraft team has found itself at the centre of controversy after recently-added housing cosmetics appeared to go against previous pledges not to sell decorations tied to the visual identity of the game's races and factions. The cosmetics are the haunted Grimtide Estate and Grimtide decor packs - a spooky spin on Kul Tiran furniture that players can either buy through the Battle.net store or in-game shop. These decorations have a nautical theme, in line with the buildings present in the Battle For Azeroth expansion, where the Kul Tiran subfaction was added for Alliance players.
