A new investigation into consumer headphones has found that every product tested contained substances considered hazardous to human health, including chemicals linked to cancer, hormone disruption, and neurodevelopmental issues. The research was carried out by the ToxFree LIFE for All project, a partnership of central European civil society groups, which analyzed 81 pairs of in-ear and over-ear headphones sold across Europe and online marketplaces including Shein and Temu. Researchers said hazardous substances were detected in all products examined, including models from major brands such as Bose, Panasonic, Samsung, and Sennheiser. Study raises concerns over daily exposure through skin contact According to the investigation, bisphenol A (BPA) was found in 98% of tested headphones, while bisphenol S (BPS) appeared in more than three-quarters of samples.

After 8 years, my favorite house renovation sim returns with revamped visuals and all $120 worth of DLC included – and the Steam Next Fest demo already has me sold I can't get enough of House Flipper Remastered Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more You are now subscribed Your newsletter sign-up was successful Want to add more newsletters? House Flipper first hooked me when I had just grown into an adult with its cozy renovation loop, providing me with the relaxing outlet I needed amid all of college's chaos – and now, eight years later, it's drawn me back into its surreal world of home-refurbishing havoc. If you're anything like me, you have hundreds of hours in House Flipper and its more recent sequel, House Flipper 2, because what better way to spend your evenings unwinding than to complete jobs for strangers who leave televisions upside down and undefinable stains on all of their ceilings – right? I've re-experienced two jobs from the original House Flipper – one from the base game and another from DLC, because House Flipper Remastered comes with all $120 or so worth of expansions from the OG title – and I've gotten to enjoy sprucing up a home that wasn't in the 2018 gem.

RTX 5060 | from $339.99 at Amazon RTX 5070 | from $629.99 at Best Buy Yes, I review the best graphics cards, but I wasn't really gunning to play Resident Evil Requiem with blistering specs. Naturally, if you want to play Capcom's latest eerie escapade, you'll need to leverage fps boosting tools like DLSS 4.5 and Multi-Frame Generation, and the game does demonstrate why you'd want to crank the settings up On average, I was hitting around 200fps at 4K ultra settings with Path Tracing on using Multi-Frame Generation x4.
Sometimes you get a note through the door, nestled among the bills and flyers for local takeaways. Oi, it says, some priest's been murdered, and we need you to track down the folks on a list of Nazis he smuggled out of Germany after the war. Ok, you reply, it's the 1970s and I've got nothing better to do. That's the setup for Owlskip Games' The Ratline, the Steam Next Fest demo of which has just put my beleaguered Monday brain to the test.

The showunner and stars of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms have spoken about that surprising Episode 5 death which changes everything. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has been building towards violence, and the show finally delivered, during the Trial of Seven at the Ashford tourney. The Episode 5 fight pitted Ser Duncan and six cohorts against Prince Aerion and his crew in a battle at dawn, with their conflict juxtaposed with tragic scenes from Dunk’s childhood. Virtue untested is no virtue at all.” Related Bertie Carvel says that his character’s death is about both honor and heroism: “It really made me cheer inwardly when I read it and wanted to make people feel the same thing when they see it,” he says, pointing out that Baelor asks Dunk “How good a knight are you?” then “must ask the same question of himself when push comes to shove.” Comparisons with Ned Stark Baelor’s death has been compared to that of Ned Stark in Game of Thrones, and Carvel sees the similarities while not agreeing 100%.

What we've been playing - "I think my brain might be cooked" A few of the things that have us hooked this week. 14th February Hello and welcome back to our regular feature where we write a little about the games we've been playing. This week, Bertie plays a classic but finds himself getting a bit bored; Marie adopts a black cat called Salem; Tom can't get out of the menus; Victoria makes a young child cry; Dom Platinums a game and feels very smug about it; and Connor finds an inventive way to play two MMOs at once. -Connor Read this next - "There's actually millions of people that still play it" - Blizzard insists Diablo 3 still has a "massive" playerbase - Nioh 3 gets its first big post-launch patch on Steam and PlayStation 5, and it mostly affects progress-halting bugs - Will we ever see Switch 2 versions of Diablo 2 and Diablo 4?

Apart from The Burning God which is the last book in The Poppy War Series, I’m planning to read the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson.
Throw pool, dice and stickers into a blender and you get STICKER/BALL, a roguelike that relishes in chaos A game that forces you to use that sticker collection you've been hoarding I'll be truthful with you for a moment: I do, from time to time, enjoy a game where I do not have to be supremely strategic, and get to watch different lights and colours light up on my screen. Arma 3's King of the Hill mod inspired the Battalion 1944 devs' new 100 player shooter, deploying in early access this year Militaristic mercenaries mash and mangle for moolah Get in cover and 10/4 your sit reps, soldier! Battalion developers Bulkhead have revealed a new military sandbox shooter set to arrive in early access at some point this year. It's called Wardogs and it'll see matches featuring up to 100 mercenaries mercilessly murder each other in teams, with the reward being a stack of money to spend on upping the ante with their next loadout. Our first thought upon seeing the player count per session was that the thing seems quite Battlefieldy, but Bulkhead say that - at least in terms of the game's main mode - Arma 3 mod King of the Hill was the main inspiration.
