The 7 clans of Rokugan are always at war, fighting over land, for glory, or simply because of some minor perceived slight. The Plan To Capture Toshi Ranbo Gunsen The Battle for Toshi Ranbo is a board game for 2 to 6 players, with players using a slightly smaller board for 2-3 player games and a larger board for 4-6 player games. Maybe 7 players pushes it over the game length they were aiming for, but it seems like you could just have a slightly bigger board for 7 players and have 1 side for 2-4 and the other for 5-7, as the turn structure keeps the game going nicely. Review Summary Pros - Great capture of all 7 clans with a unique feel - Great, L5R feeling mechanics - Battle mechanics allow for more depth than simple dice rolls - Order system that rewards early strategic planning Cons - Capped at 6 players when there are components for 7 clans feels odd

DLSS 5 can be jammed into almost any game now, so I've been playing FM26 with neural rendered little computer people because that's just what I do And here's how I did it. Ever since the Control mod appeared I've been enjoying jamming the released DLSS 5 .dll files into a bunch of different games, to greater or lesser effect. Running the Control mod on an RTX 5090 I was seeing DLSS Balanced 4K Ultra Ray Tracing running at around 110 fps in standard mode, which then dropped to under 50 fps as soon as DLSS 5 was brought to bear on the game, which is about where Nvidia is pitching the performance hit. Best high-end: Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Dave has been gaming since the days of Zaxxon and Lady Bug on the Colecovision, and code books for the Commodore Vic 20 (Death Race 2000!).

The review embargo for former vampire ARPG The Blood of Dawnwalker has shriveled up, and in its place has arrived a respectable gush of primarily positive ratings. The game's creative director and former CD Projekt Red lead Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz can finally relax. He writes on Twitter, "Waiting for the reviews to come in has been nerve wrecking to say the least, but they're finally (mostly) here!" The Blood of Dawnwalker reviews began marching out on August 31, ahead of the game's September 3 launch. "Great relief, can't wait to see you all play the game and to hear your thoughts!" GamesRadar+ gave the open-world bleak fantasy game a cautious three-star rating in our The Blood of Dawnwalker review, in which our games editor Oscar Taylor-Kent writes, "For an RPG that keeps telling me that it matters I've been cursed to be a vampire, and constantly has a clock hanging over my every move, The Blood of Dawnwalker feels too frictionless and forgiving once you get used to its almost theme park-like static nature." Latest Videos FromGamesRadar+ The Blood of Dawnwalker currently sits at an honorable 83 score on Metacritic, placing it just slightly behind The Witcher (86 score) and about 10 feet away from another one of Tomaszkiewicz's projects, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (92 score).

CD Projekt Red has confirmed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's upcoming Songs of the Past expansion will come with more Gwent, and card game lovers are already celebrating. The Witcher 3 earned a lot of praise when it launched back in 2015. When the fan said they hoped more Gwent would be included in the surprise expansion, Łukaszewski offered a simple reply: "Confirmed!" It's been more than 10 years since The Witcher 3's last expansion, Blood and Wine, came out in 2016, and by the time Songs of the Past launches next year, that wait will have been even longer. Ongoing GTA 6 leaks might be the biggest gaming news story happening right now, but there's something much more important to discuss: Zork. We finally know what From Software's new Switch 2 exclusive, The Duskbloods, actually is , and among the many details we've gotten is a reveal of some of the game's playable characters, known as Bloodsworn. One, in particular, stands out. I'll let you take a guess who: The Duskbloods' Bloodsworn lineup for the network test That's Zork on the right, a man in an exceedingly pear-like diving suit who wields a hunk of undersea cable as a weapon.
There is Intel-shaped competition, however, in the shape of the $100 cheaper and more well-rounded Ultra 5 250K Plus. For - OG 3D V-Cache tech still rocks - Much higher gaming FPS than 7700X - Very low gaming power draw Against - Slightly slower than 7800X3D - And around the same price - Core Ultra 5 250K Plus is much cheaper with better compute chops PC Gamer's got your back I'm trying not to be too down on the new(ish) AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D. When it comes to gaming you're looking at 1080p performance that is around 94-95% that of the top of the class, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D of Zen 5 fame, and that means frame rates at the same sort of levels as the 7800X3D. 1080p gaming performance We test games at 1080p to ensure variance between CPU performance is captured Synthetic gaming performance We run the industry standard 3DMark test to get a guage of general gaming CPU performance 3DMark Time Spy The benefits of the 3D V-Cache lump bonded to the 7700X3D's CCD, however, are most clearly demonstrated by the differences in gaming performance between this newer chip and the older Ryzen 7 7700X.
Our Verdict Asus has channelled Deux Ex with its golden gaming mouse and packed it with great specs too. For - Competitive level specs - Not as gauche as you'd expect from a mouse with gold in it - Very solid construction Against - Pricey - Weightier than the Harpe II Ace - Fingerprint magnet PC Gamer's got your back Asus's ROG 20th anniversary edition gear is pretty much all about extravagance. Just look at the $600 Azoth Extreme Edition 20. 82 g is nearly double the 49 g in the Razer Viper V4 Pro, which is our current pick for the best gaming mouse, and Asus' offering is $90 more.

In recent years, the trading card game (TCG) environment has seen a boom of new games entering the market. There are still genre mainstays, like Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, which continue to receive support and feature a thriving secondhand market. However, new original IP TCGs like Flesh and Blood and Sorcery are making rounds at the local game store level and beyond. But licensed IP TCGs, like One Piece and the upcoming Cyberpunk TCG, have also taken the tabletop world by storm.
You have to imagine that the team at Game Freak is bursting with ideas. The studio puts out new mainline Pokémon adventures with a machinelike precision. But every so often it launches a curious experiment, whether it’s an action title about a militarized elephant or turning horse races into a card game, showing that it’s capable of more than the latest generation of pocket monsters. That’s part of what makes the idea of Beast of Reincarnation so enticing.

Sign up to the GamesRadar+ Newsletter Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more As for what a successful collaboration looks like, Hamaguchi says Final Fantasy 7 fans jumping into Final Fantasy 14 and becoming Warriors of Light would be great, especially if Evercold and the crossover brought some of that momentum to the launch of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation itself. Final Fantasy 14's Evercold reveal has certainly left some of the MMO heads on this very website feeling hopeful, and Hamaguchi tells me it's been "really wonderful" to see players pick up Final Fantasy Remake and Rebirth on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2 following the reveal of Revelation.
Steam Week in Review: A torrent of janky retail sims continues to flood Steam, and there's no end in sight All the interesting Steam facts for the week ending July 26. The flood of retail simulators on Steam is nothing new: the trend seemed to land with torrential force in late 2024. Two of the retail sims released last week—Model Kit Shop Simulator and Wild West Miner Simulator: First Gun—were published by the aforementioned PlayWay, which published four games between July 20 and now. According to SteamDB the publisher has 474 products on Steam, but well over 100 of those haven't been released yet: there's lots of TBAs and Soons among the Q1 2027s and vague 2026s.
In Phasmophobia , keeping an eye on your Sanity level is critical, as it impacts important game aspects, including when a ghost can start hunting and whether you can safely use a cursed object . Passive drain can also be slowed down by standing within two meters of a lit Firelight, with Tier 1 providing a 33% per second reduction, Tier 2 a 33% per second reduction, and Tier 3 a 66% per second reduction. On standard 40% Sanity restoration settings, Tier 1 restores 40% Sanity in 20 seconds. The Tarot Cards are also risky, as only two cards in the 10-card deck can increase your Sanity: The Sun (sets Sanity to 100%) and a green-burning The Wheel of Fortune (which grants 25% Sanity).
