A new report states that Disney thinks Shawn Levy's Star Wars: Starfighter will go over better with audiences than Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian and Grogu. Per Variety, The Mandalorian and Grogu is "something of a question mark" for The Mouse, and that it "may not seem like a big-screen proposition for any but the most die-hard Baby Yoda lovers." The report also mentions the largely negative reaction to the film's first trailer, which was strange in tone, among other things... Per the official tagline, the New Republic enlists Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his unbearably cute, tiny, and green apprentice Grogu following "the fall of the Galactic Empire, during a period where remaining Imperial warlords threaten the galaxy." Much like the report posits...

"Toss A Coin To Your Witcher" might be Dandelion's greatest ballad, but have you heard about the one where Geralt and a bunch of monsters partied 'til he died? Or how about that time Geralt got cut in half by a portal? Getting Inspired The Witcher, be it in the original novels, video games, or TV adaptation, has a fair few silly moments, but the mood still typically errs on the side of "dark and gritty." The world of The Witcher is unforgiving and cruel, and even when you have moments of levity with Geralt's quips to Dandelion or hijinks with Lambert and Eskel, nothing is quite like Reigns: The Witcher. Review Summary Pros - Addicting, Tinder-style Swiping Gameplay - Funny Situations Witcher Fans Will Enjoy, While Treating Source Material With Respect - Dozens of Objectives, Familiar Characters, and Iconic Monsters Cons - RNG Can Make or Break You - Some Choices/Solutions to Objectives Seem Obtuse

Resident Evil returns to its roots in Resident Evil Requiem, introducing a new protagonist to crawl around a spooky building in a more classic approach to Resident Evil, while also giving the fans what they want in the return of Leon. Just how well does the story work around multiple gameplay styles, while also telling the latest story of zombie terrors and bioweapons? Resident Evil Requiem Review | Final Thoughts Resident Evil Requiem successfully threads the needle between the gameplay of Grace with a focus on Resident Evil 7 and Village-style exploration and combat, and a more action-packed story suited for a modern-day Leon (without falling into the territory of Resident Evil 6). Resident Evil Requiem was reviewed on PlayStation 5 with a copy provided by the publisher - All screenshots were taken by the reviewer over 15 hours of gameplay Review Summary Pros - Grace gameplay is the best of 7 and 8 - Fun incentive to replay - Leon is action focused without becoming parody Cons - Lots of backtracking

The old "platform expansion", eh? We've seen several ports come our way in the last eight months that would have been nothing more than a pipedream on Switch 1, and it looks like another title that got everyone talking on PS5 back in 2024 might make the jump to the new Nintendo hybrid, too. We're talking about Stellar Blade , of course, the action-adventure title from Sony Interactive Entertainment and Shift Up. In the developer's latest financial report , the team discussed what it hopes to see the game achieve in 2026, noting, "We are reviewing platform expansion beyond PS5 and PC to broaden audience reach.

The Legacy of Kain franchise might be one of the most beloved cult franchises in gaming (for Millennial goths with an English degree, like myself, at least). The dark fantasy action-adventure series kicked off with Blood Omen back in 1996, and followed that up with Soul Reaver in 1999, before a three-year run of Soul Reaver 2 , Blood Omen 2, and Legacy of Kain: Defiance rounded off the series for a very long time in 2003. Fast-forward 21 years, and we saw the release of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered in 2024 - reigniting dormant fans everywhere and bringing the esteemed series back into the spotlight.

THQ Nordic have just revealed that the Gothic 1 Remake is now set for release on June 5th. Bringing the original game from 2001 up to more modern standards in terms of gameplay and graphics. Last edited by such on 12 Feb 2026 at 3:48 pm UTC Which is funny because nowadays, the Gothic games have somewhat of a reputation for being difficult, partly due to weird controls and partly due to mercilessly difficult fights when you have a character with no learned skills and no equipment. Last edited by LungDrago on 13 Feb 2026 at 9:42 am UTC Then we got Risen 1 & 2 which were quite good as well, but again Risen-3 was a bit of a flop!
The Diablo warlock rumours are true, but the new class is coming to three games, including to Diablo 2 today And that's not all. The dataminers were right, there is a warlock class coming to Diablo 4, as part of the The Lord of Hatred expansion that arrives in April. It costs $25 (£22) The warlock's arrival in Diablo 2: Resurrected begins a new era for the game whereby it will progress beyond its classic state with additional ongoing development. To me it seems like an evolution of Adventure Mode - a new pursuit to keep you busy once the game's campaigns are done - A "hyper-rare" event called Echoing Hatred, which throws infinite waves of enemies at you and gives you loot depending on how long you survived - The Horadric Cube, which lets you combine materials and items - Loot filters - And the return of Charms and Sets Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred launches 28th April on PC and consoles.
