Marvelous announced that a Story of Seasons mobile game in the Bokujou Monogatari series is canceled following the “termination of the capital and business alliance” with Tencent and its Image Frame Investment. This happened at a July 31, 2026 Board of Directors meeting for the company. It also means Outside Director Shin Joon Oh resigned as a result of the termination. It first showed up on the Switch, Switch 2, and PC in August 2025, but in May 2026 we also saw it appear on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
