Early Grand Theft Auto 6 details have sparked debate about whether Rockstar Games' latest is too realistic for its own good. We've learned a lot about GTA 6 since its big extended look reveal. "I'm here for as full of an immersion as they can make," another argued, "RDR2 is the best game I've ever played and I love that they are making GTA 6 more like it." Other fans fall somewhere in the middle, with one Reddit user pointing out that "At the point I pull out a gun I’m probably gonna do something worse than brandishing so this is fine." remember carrying c4, rpgs, molotovs and like 10 guns at once in gta5 those days are over 😓 When does a video game stop being a video game — emosxyual (@emosxyual) September 7, 2026 Rockstar is surely keenly aware of the balancing act it needs to pull off, but that didn't stop it from adding in more realistic elements. This ultra-realism shit sounds exhausting imagine seeing this in gta6 pic.twitter.com/E4RJ6AKHl1 — 🏆 - Andy (@codedandunited) September 7, 2026 I love that they added refueling to GTA 6 Imagine being chased by the cops and then suddenly your gas runs out near the swamps, so now you have to ditch the car and run through the swamps, dodging alligators AND cops.

Take-Two Interactive's hunt for the person or people responsible for recent GTA 6 leaks is "rapidly evolving," the publisher says in newly revealed court documents. Take-Two was quick to file DMCA subpoena requests for Discord and Microsoft in the wake of the initial leaks, but a new filing (via TorrentFreak) is very different in nature. Not only is it much more specific, seeking "targeted information" related to the previous subpoena and individual Discord users, but Take-Two is also requesting that it remain sealed to avoid benefitting the leakers. Latest Videos FromGamesRadar+ Take-Two says the subpoena attachment "reveals highly sensitive, confidential information about an ongoing investigation into copyright infringement and the misappropriation of Take-Two's confidential information." "Public disclosure of this information could compromise Take-Two's ongoing investigation and even tip off the alleged infringers as to the nature and progress of Take-Two's investigation and information Take-Two has gathered about the infringement," Take-Two writes.
I found solace from Silent Hill: Townfall's stealthy horror in the soothing Britishness of its abandoned homes Doin' up the house I suppose, in a way, I asked for this. Crouched and cowering behind a garden fence, inches away from the thrashing, cleaver-faced miscreation who’d quite comfortably win in a fight against my splintering plank of rotten wood, I can almost hear Silent Hill: Townfall whisper mocking in my ear: not too much combat now, eh? New protag Simon, through whose eyes I explored Townfall’s forsaken Scottish village of St. Amelia in a Gamescom 2026 demo, is taller, wider, and wearing a far more padded gilet than Silent Hill f’s Hinako.
GTA 6: This is what a billion dollars gets you "Look who's back." There are plenty of layers to GTA 6, if the game's 26-minute Netflix teaser is anything to go by. The first, of course, is what you'll be doing. Rockstar took to Netflix in part to tell its vast audience that GTA 6 is still the GTA you love. Well, that extended look at a crime sim currently without a PC release date was heavier on gabagool than I expected How 'bout that prick's face when he saw the initially Netflix exclusive gameplay presentation? This plan also motivates Konami to keep moving Silent Hill far away from its original home in fall-apart Maine, as Okamoto says, "If we stay laser-focused on the same American setting, that would exhaust [narrative] possibilities, and also potentially cause fatigue for the playerbase." Okamoto wants anyone working on a Silent Hill game to tailor the IP, so keeping it flying around the world lets developers "work within the types of environments and the types of storytelling that works best for them." Every main Silent Hill game released or announced this decade was made by a developer that wasn't Konami, so it sounds like the publisher will continue to experiment with who gets to define Silent Hill.
Asmongold has been unbanned on Twitch and viewers were surprised to see how much has changed since the last time they saw him, and believe it is thanks to his new girlfriend. Earlier in August, Asmongold was banned on Twitch and unable to stream for two weeks. During that time, the streamer revealed he went to the ER over a cancer scare and spent time hanging out with his girlfriend Kaise. Kaise appeared to make some headway with Asmon, as she documented that she was able to get him to eat a salad – a notable achievement, considering that in 2022, he revealed he had never even eaten an apple or orange in his life.
Trainwatch is a life sim, a horror game, and a time management experience rolled up into a haunting story about the eerie places you see from a speeding carriage Twilight express Recently, RPS has seen a mighty renaissance of train game reporting. Look to east, and you will find James doing locomotive kickflips in Denshattack, a J-pop stunt racer turbocharged by the hope of a better world. Look to west, and you'll witness Julian bopping bandit Pullmen in Fogpiercer, or chuffing gaily between the plumpest asteroids in Profits 2167. I think of James and his funky ramen express as I cradle a microwaved lasange in the canteen, trying to muster the self-esteem necessary to push the button upstairs that will stop any rogue pedestrians getting demolished by the 11.11pm from Richmond.
Twitch streamers have hit out at the streaming platform after it was revealed that streams, clips, and other videos would be used to train generative AI. Over the last year, artificial intelligence has crept into everyday life. Some people use it to complete menial tasks at their job, while others even have AI in their fridge to tell them when they’re running low on stuff. On August 12, Twitch came under fire after it was revealed that the platform has seemingly allowed Amazon’s artificial intelligence models to use content from streamers to train.
An Apex Legends developer turned real grief into a permanent fixture inside the game, and most players will walk right past it. Apex Legends build engineer Tyler Owens has spent five years working on the game behind the scenes, the kind of job that rarely gets a face attached to it. When his mom died, he gave her a permanent address inside the world he helped build, tucked somewhere players had no real reason to look. A letter from his mom, taped to the fridge The tribute sits inside E-District, the cyberpunk-styled map Apex Legends added last year, specifically within the Heights point of interest.
Twitch streamer Kaise shocked the internet when she randomly showed up at Asmongold’s house, and now she has some big demands for the creator. Last week, a female streamer randomly spawned into Asmongold’s room, and the two immediately went viral with their interactions. Kaise was instantly put off by the state of Asmon’s toilet, and days later, she found a cockroach head in his fridge while he was cooking steak for her. Asmongold’s messy house has been a meme in the streaming community for years, having been filled with dead rats and other grotesque things that Kaise wants him to deal with.
