The main selling point of Tekken 8 's Season 3 DLC pass, alongside veterans Kunimitsu, Bob and Roger Jr, is Yujiro Hanma, the main antagonist of fighting manga Baki and father of its eponymous protagonist. Yujiro was initially revealed in May through a trailer made up entirely of panels from Baki, leaving it in question just how a character that looks like that would be adapted into the Unreal Engine 5 hyper-realism of Tekken 8. The answer, apparently, is that Bandai just said fuck it, and let him look inevitably grotesque.
Bandai Namco has revealed a first look at Tekken 8 DLC character Yujiro Hanma, and the Baki rep is looking just as uncanny as fans expected. The new trailer for the fighting game's Season 3 characters debuted alongside Evo France 2026. Following Kunimitsu's release in June and Bob's release in August, kangaroo-and-joey fighter Roger Jr. While passes cost $30 each, the Season 3 pass is currently available for $34.99.
Nitrate Games revealed the first footage and new details about its upcoming farm sim video game Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture at New York Comic Con on Thursday. IGN can exclusively share the first trailer for the game, which you can watch via the player embedded below. Jay and Silent Bob’s Joint Venture promises a funny and raunchy spin on the cozy farming genre, with creator Kevin Smith’s iconic characters out to “build the best weed farm in town.” Players will build, cultivate and expand their operation, interact with familiar faces, and experience an original story written by Ernie Altbacker (the animated films Batman: Hush and Justice League Dark). “Many thanks to Nitrate Games for taking my little animals to this crossing and making them Stars Dew a Valley!” “Joint Venture is a Jay and Silent Bob game, but it’s actually a continuation of Kevin Smith’s View Askewniverse,” says Nitrate Games co-founder Montana Sommese.

Disney has responded after rumors suggested it was interested in buying Fortnite developer Epic Games. Disney president and chief creative officer Dana Walden touched on the company's relationship with Epic during an interview with Bloomberg Live. When asked if there have been talks about expanding their previously established relationship with a full-on acquisition, she said that strategy isn't something Disney is entertaining, at least right now. "Those are not the conversations we're having right now, but we have a great partnership and a number of launches coming up over the next two years that are going to demonstrate the value of this partnership." The relationship referenced here was solidified when Disney announced it acquired a $1.5 billion stake in Epic back in early 2024.

A developer has managed to get a recognizable version of Super Mario 64 running on original SNES hardware using a Super FX chip. Super Mario 64 was released for the Nintendo 64 in 1996, with Game of Tobi exploring what Nintendo’s landmark 3D platformer might look like running on the significantly older SNES. Super Mario 64 runs on original SNES Game of Tobi showed off the project, dubbed Super Mario FX, running on an original SNES in a new video. Despite its appearance, this isn’t a direct port or recompilation of Super Mario 64.

Anyway, the famous (and now defunct) key was, in its entirety, FCKGW-RHQQ2-YXRKT-8TG6W-2B7Q8—and Plummer thinks it may well have been leaked by an OEM or similar with early access to Microsoft's then-new, all-blue XP operating system. "Presumably someone does." In the aftermath, Microsoft started blacklisting product IDs belonging to the leaked keys in Service Pack 1, while Service Pack 2 "made the check more aggressive" and started blocking updates for installs using the key.

He's also – as revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 – a voice performer in the upcoming game Murals from developer Dlala Studios. Mortimer's involvement began when company founder Aj Grand-Scrutton and lead writer Kelsy Abbott wrote a character that was a "rip-off" of the comedian.

We're in exactly one of those situations right now, as player counts for the game's main mode, Battle Royale, have fallen significantly since Chapter 7 Season 4 started on August 14. After the summer season saw a big bump in engagement, thanks to some combination of the sprite-focused gameplay and the nearly entirely new map that Epic dropped at the start of Season 3, player counts have been heading back towards the sort of numbers we saw in Season 1 and 2. Grant Kirkhope - the iconic video game composer behind the Donkey Kong Rap and the Banjo-Kazooie games - thinks a potential Banjo-Threeie is slightly more likely now. Almost three decades have passed since Banjo-Kazooie's last mainline platformer flapped onto the N64 and it's been almost 20 years since Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts flopped onto the Xbox 360, but it's never too late for another adventure with the bird and bear. Speaking to FRVR, Kirkhope explained that he used to feel there was "zero chance of another Banjo-Kazooie game." Nowadays, that sentiment's been upgraded to a "slight chance" because he thinks Rare's updated leadership could be more receptive to an outside developer spearheading a threequel.

The highlights of Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 Chinese and Korean studios made their presence felt, but The Witcher 3 stole the show GamesIndustry.biz was at Gamescom Opening Night Live on Tuesday night, the eighth instalment of the digital showcase. The hall was packed, without an empty seat in sight, and there were plenty of gaming celebrities in attendance: Xbox head Asha Sharma could be seen near the front, gamely forming an 'X' with her arms as the camera panned over her. It was a sign of things to come, with a strong presence from Chinese and Korean companies in this year's Opening Night Live, which included titles like Cinder City and Like or Die from NC, PUBG: Ded.Net from Krafton, Ananta and Sea of Remnants from Netease, Zoopunk from Ti Games, and Tides of Annihilation from the Chengdu-based Eclipse Glow Games, not to mention another Hoyoverse title in the form of the life-simulation game Petit Planet. Among the indie standouts were Lofsöng from Unrelated Studio, Dust: Origins from Airship Syndicate, and Daniel Mullins' wild-looking Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, which is coming on April 27, 2027.
